Favorite Pens and Markers!

There’s something magical about the way a great pen glides across paper or how vibrant markers can turn a mundane to-do list into a masterpiece of productivity. My love for pens and markers is deeply rooted in both my childhood and my creative passions. Growing up, my mom always found the coolest office supplies to tuck into our stockings each Christmas. Those colorful pens, quirky highlighters, and mini notebooks from museums became little treasures that sparked my imagination. As a child, I took calligraphy classes, where I discovered the art of writing as an expression of beauty and personality. That passion for creativity evolved into a love for using color and design to organize and elevate even the simplest tasks.

To this day, I see pens and markers as more than just tools—they’re gateways to creativity, order, and inspiration. Whether I’m creating a vibrant color-coded system to keep my schedule on track or jotting down ideas in a rainbow of ink, these tools bring joy to my day and structure to my workflow. In this post, I’ll share some of my all-time favorite pens and markers—the ones that not only perform beautifully but also make organizing and planning a truly enjoyable experience. And the best part? All of these would make fantastic stocking stuffers, just like the ones I cherished growing up!

HIGHLIGHTERS

The prettiest yet most functional highlighters with a fine marker on the flip side! You will never run out of colors! They are not too dark and do not hide your original text.

THE ONLY PEN I USE DAILY

My everyday pen, I love the fine tip of 0.5 mm. There is no top to lose. You cannot have enough of these on your desk! These are the pens I buy for all my clients!

GEL PENS

If a pen clicks, I love it! It means you don’t have to ever find a top. These gel pens are sturdy and not light to the touch and create the most smooth color line ever. Use these for any project and calendar mangement.

DOT PENS

Okay who loves check lists? These “dot” pens are fantastic for creating a perfect color dot next to anything! Two ends, dot end and fine tip end. Super fun for creating anything on paper!

CALLIGRAPHY / BRUSH PENS

OMG these pens are SO FUN! I have used them for creating beautiful place cards, water color looking designs, and anything calligraphy, such as addressing envelopes. Two ends again, brush end and a fine tip pen in one!

FUN STATIONERY PENS

These pens are soooo cool for journaling or making your own stationery. The other end also has a fine tip pen to match the pattern!

PAINT PENS

Do these take you back to the 80’s? Everything had our names on it with a paint pen! So much fun, especially on acrylic products!

The PENCIL I use EVERYDAY!

Yes, I still use a paper calendar and I only write in pencil in it. Miller, my son and I both LOVE this comfortable gel grip pencil. I have had mine for over 20 years now, yes, you heard it…all you do is replace the lead.
